Sony has unveiled a limited edition PS5 and PS5 Pro, designed in the nostalgic style of the original PlayStation (PS1), as part of their 30th Anniversary Collection.
The announcement came via a PlayStation YouTube video, which also introduced limited edition versions of the DualSense, DualSense Edge, and the PlayStation Portal. Pre-orders begin on September 26th, with the official release expected on December 3rd, coinciding with PlayStation’s 30th anniversary.
The PS5 Pro bundle will be the rarest offering, with only 12,300 units available. This exclusive set includes the PS5 Pro console, a vertical stand, a charging station, and a DualSense Edge controller with its case, all featuring the iconic PS1 design.
Also available is the PS5 Slim Digital Edition, which includes a matching disc drive cover for the optional disc drive. This package comes with a standard DualSense controller, a vertical stand, PlayStation-branded cable ties, a sticker, a poster, and a paperclip for a fun, collectible touch.
